AUDITION PROCEDURE
Auditions for the 2010/11 course will be held at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School between June and September. The audition is 15 minutes long and the fee is £15. You are required to perform two speeches. Both are to be learned. The first should be a modern piece from the time of Ibsen or later, i.e. late 19th century and beyond. The second should be a classical piece in verse by Shakespeare or one of his contemporaries before 1640. Each piece is to last no more than two minutes. We prefer auditionees not to look directly at the panel when performing. You may be asked to perform the speeches again. There will then be a short interview. We regret we cannot give any feedback on speeches after the audition. You will be informed by email (or letter) as to the result of the audition. If you have any questions regarding auditions, please do not hesitate to contact Gary on 07712444374 or click here to email us.
