Belinda Hill, Belinda graduated in 2010.  She is currently on the second year BAA course. Originally a professional dancer and dance teacher Belinda enrolled at BAA to turn to the art of acting.  A self employed mother of two young children Belinda found the BAA course was ideal as classes were evening and weekend based. Since graduating from BAA 1 Belinda has made several TV and film appearances. She is now successfully teaching children’s Drama classes and continues to further her own acting career. Belinda found the BAA teaching inspirational and incredibly enjoyable.  Belinda would like to thank Gary and his staff for their dedication.

Oliver Melvin. The BAA showcase course is fantastic for those both old or young, whether you're in between drama school auditions or in between acting jobs. You will receive drama school level teaching as classes are taught by full time tutors from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and you'll be sure to leave having acquired at least one further skill. Since starting the course I can confidently say that I have improved as an actor whilst making some very good friends which I put solely down to Gary and this course.

Andrew Smith. The Showcase course has been a fantastic experience. Led by some of the top tutors around, working in  a very collaborative way, I have learnt a great deal and had much fun within a wonderful, diverse group of friendly and supportive fellow students. I am proof that you are never too old to learn new tricks and others show that one is never too young. A structured and enjoyable course throughout, I can only recommend it wholeheartedly.

Andy Cunningham. Returning to acting after a long and busy break in a completely different field, BAA gave me a survival kit and confidence to prepare, audition and perform. BAA offers first class tuition from resident and associate professionals. The [Showcase] course is practical, honest and supportive and most importantly relevant to the work and opportunities out there. You get to meet some of the people you will share, collaborate with and support when the course is all done and dusted. I had great fun and came away stronger.’

My name is Luke Bailey and I completed the BAA Part Time Showcase course 2015-16. The training that I received was exactly what I needed at that time as I had just graduated with a degree in Sports Coaching but wanted to apply to do an MA in acting at drama school. The course provided essential voice and movement training that really benefited my acting. Gary also helped with my audition preparation which I was fortunate enough to be offered places at East 15 and ALRA. I am now undergoing my MA in Professional Acting at ALRA where I was awarded a DaDa scholarship to help fund my further training. Thanks Gary and the BAA team.

Debi Moore. A brilliant, all encompassing course with some of the best tutors in the industry.  I loved every minute of it from breath control, voice work, singing, dancing and movement.  It was challenging, intensive but achievable.  The course gave me a box of acting tools, fabulous friends and more confidence as an actor.
Thank you Gary for a truly wonderful and fun course.

Zak Reeves. The BAA course is the perfect opportunity for both experienced practitioners and people looking for experience in the dramatic arts. The course offers very comprehensive teaching on both the art of stage craft and the development of dramatic performance. The teachers are very experienced, knowledgeable and, most importantly, genuinely interested in your development. I hugely enjoyed my tie on the BAA course, I learnt a lot, made some great friends and I would recommend it very highly to anyone interested in learning more about dramatic performance.

Amelia Cox. The BAA course is exceptional, diverse, & uniquely designed to help you grow to be a professionally prepared performer in the industry. It has personally helped me through drama school auditions, by building up my toolbox, & equipping me with the right skills to become an intelligent & diverse actor. It covers all aspects of theatre with classes taught by their incredible faculty. I always come out of class feeling inspired!

Anna MacArthur. The BAA course has been an amazing opportunity for me to get back into acting training at a professional and fun level. It has made me want to study performance even further and given me the confidence to apply for auditions and drama school in the near future. I can't recommend this course enough to anyone and everyone who is interested in acting, especially those who want to have a professional training experience and make some life long friends along the way!

Boyd Rogers. The Bristol Acting Academy provides extremely high quality tuition in all aspects of acting which I have found invaluable as part of my on-going journey as an aspiring actor. This course was perfect for me as it has enabled me to continue with my day to day work activities and family commitments but at the same time be able to receive first class training and teaching in all aspects of acting, normally something only available on full time courses. I would fully recommend this course to anyone who is thinking of setting out on a career as an actor but is unable to commit to a full time course.
